Temporary window screen installation with little to no damage
Rafael Property Services offers a range of security screen options tailored to suit different property types, ensuring maximum protection while keeping installation damage to a minimum – all in a cost-effective way.
Our modular Sitex-style steel security window screens or shutters come in a variety of sizes to cover glazed areas. Designed with flexible fixing points, they are connected using steel studding or cable, and secured through window openings with bolts or ratchets to internal steel bars placed across the inside of the window reveal. This method ‘sandwiches’ the window opening, often eliminating the need to damage window frames or remove glazing. If de-glazing PVCu windows is necessary, sealed units and beading will be carefully bagged in each room for later reinstatement.
Fixed glazing can be secured by drilling a minimum of four holes through timber window frames to allow steel cable to pass through to internal back-bars. Heavy-duty ratchets are then used to apply pressure to each cable, ensuring a secure fit.
